SPI-10C is composed of several main parts, including bottle feeder + automatic cap elevator and unscrambler + bottle-in/out template + capping mechanism + rejection mechanism + electrical control etc.
Working principle: Each capping head is driven by an independent servo motor. Caping head lift and cap-taking is realized by electronic cam.
During the capping process, the speed and torque of each capping head are determined by the program, which can be changed based on actual needs. The capping servo motor is automatically and precisely controlled by the program, with closed-loop control, and torque error self-correcting caused by the inertia.
a) Cap-taking description
The cap is sent by the servo, and the capping head is taken according to the rule that the cap is placed with bottle, the cap isn’t placed without bottle, and the angle is rotated at the same time (According to the cap starting angle and the bottle starting position cooperating with each other, to ensure that the pump nozzle will not be damaged).
b)Capping function
The SPW-10C uses the Siemens/Bosch Rexroth drive system, which combines the control system and servo motor in an ultra-compact unified system for maximum flexibility in minimal space and 90% reduction in wiring. In the process of capping, the servo motor can control the capping curve movement in sections, and at the same time can ensure smooth segmentation process, and realize the digital capping torque control, which is completely superior to the traditional clutch torque control.
- Closed loop control by the servo motor and program throughout the capping process;
- Automatically adjust the capping force until the set torque is reached;
- Due to the precise and flexible control of the motion drive module and program, the influence of the inertia of the capping head and the deviation of the parts can be eliminated;
- Torque switching between different products can be achieved simply by changing the set value of the program;
c)Capping head changeover
Quick-release capping head will be designed for diversified production. The capping head is specially customized for more stable operation.
The SPW-10C servo capping machine can realize synchronous connection with the filling machine. If the filling machine stops, the capping machine will stop. So does the acceleration. After filling, the bottle directly enters the capping machine screw rod, which prevents bottle colliding and liquid splashing when the two machines run separately at high speed. The screw drive follows the main drive, the screw angle can be set via touch screen to make it match with the star wheel. There is a sensor at the bottle-in screw, no bottle, no capping and alarm when bottle-stuck.
SPW-10C adopts servo motor for cap-sending chain. The servo motor has the advantages of periodic start and stop, periodic positive and negative rotation, not only reducing noise and avoid cap-stuck.
The templates are made of polymer polyethylene(PE), fully fitted to the bottle shape with smooth surface. It can not only stabilize the positioning, prevent the bottle from being scratched; and featurs fast changeover, with module structure.
After capping, there is a dual-conveyor with sensors and vision detection; The qualified products are normally transported, and the unqualified ones (no cap, no inner tube, tilted cap-higher than normal 2mm) will be automatically split to another conveyor by swing cylinder.
When the capping machine stops if there is bottle-stuck, and it resumes automatic operation after the bottle-stuck been solved;
